ADOPT OR FOSTER
Inquire about Becoming a Foster or Adoptive Parent:
Fill out an inquiry form with a local organization or agency. Learn about the process, certification information, and what fostering entails. See our Resources page for a list of local agencies we love!
SPONSOR
Sponsor with an agency or help sponsor the Sweetest Day Ever! If you are interested in sponsoring our special evening, please head to our "Donate | Sponsor" page and fill out the attached form.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteer at a Support Group:
Find a support group through your local foster agencies and organizations. Volunteering may look like helping set up for an event or providing child care while families receive training and support.
DONATE
Many foster agencies and organizations are in need of children items to restock. Donating is easy, and often through the convenience of an Amazon wishlist. Check out each foster agency or organization's website for information of what you can donate!
EDUCATE
Sign up to be a mentor! We partner with The Comeback Kid Society, a 501C3 nonprofit agency providing free mentoring programs for at-risk youth. Their mission revolves around offering unwavering support and invaluable resources to young individuals residing in foster group homes, juvenile detentions, treatment centers and our local communities, helping them to triumph over life’s challenges, cultivate resilience, and recognize their self-worth.
Nominations: Foster Families & Professionals
How does it work? Each year The Sweetest Day opens a call for nominations a few months before the annual event. During this time, it's your chance to nominate an amazing foster family or professional that deserves to be celebrated! SDE then carefully reviews each nomination and selects families and/or professionals based on their impact in the community, dedication to fostering children, and the love they share.
The Sweetest Day Ever 2025 brought change that made a huge impact on those who we celebrated. In addition to the events at The Sweetest Day 2025, each family/professional selected received a private overnight stay at Beautiful Restoration! They enjoyed this beautiful home after the celebration to stay on the property, swim in the pool, play pickle ball, and wake up to a delicious bedside breakfast the following morning. We are so grateful to Beautiful Restoration for partnering with us in 2025 and helping us LOVE and celebrate those who are making a difference.
